Does the date of the last post before mine indicate the interest level of the show? :?:

It's just so universally loved that no one could possibly make any suggestions to improve it.

I think the fact that its a solid show so there isn't much to whine about (except for Silvy's voice)

But I don't mind his voice. Its sort of his trademark if you ask me.

Agreed. He didn't say anything shocking, but I think the boys didn't hold back on their questions, which was nice.

I like the show...not "the Show" but this show. They started off with a little bit too much bickering with each other but that's been cut down to a level where it's actually funny....something the previous was never able to do.

i liked when lou when asked if he wouldn't be in a Cubs uniform next year and he replied, "If I die, I won't."

i did laugh, even if it was a bit morbid.

I listen pretty much everyday. I don't think they ruffle as many feathers that get us in heated discussion like the afternoon show.

Lou interview was good. I liked the fact Silvy continued to ask Lou about A-Rod when Piniella said they already have a good third basemen. A lof of hosts quit right after that answer, but Silvy went on to say put A-Rod at SS, Theriot to 2b, and DeRosa to RF. Lou then kind of had to dance around it.

Agreed........good interview. I actually walked away thinking that because Lou didn't totally dismiss the A-ROD possibility that maybe there is a slight chance they might pursue him.

Spinnin, love the avatar - Tremendous

I was coming here to start a post to compliment this show. I loved the email competition today - "Dick for a day".

These guys are giving MJH a run for their money but I think the afternoon boys are starting to sink a few birdie putts

You could easily say the same thing about Mulli and Hanley(And I dont like the Score at all)

MJH easily owns that show. Silvy and Waddle arent bad for 9-12 but in total quality any combo of MJH(any 2 or 3 of them) own that show. Its not a knock on Silvy and Waddle but theres a reason they are 9-12 and MJH is 2-6.

MJH was garbage for most of the summer. And when B&B follow the simple formula of Terry being awake and Dan not being a jag, their show is better than MJH. Said it before and I'll say it again, Silvy & Waddle are the best show on AM1000 right now.

Agreed, Spinnin, MJH were garbage most of the summer. That being said, they have recovered quite nicely. Silvy and Waddle had a rough start as to be expected but I think they have found a nice combination....

Honestly, MJH will be better now, because they are much bigger Football fans than Baseball fans. They follow all the games closely and Jurko has much better input into his sport than any other he might try talking about. Harry is the only one who is fairly consistant in his performance. I would say that Silvy is also very consistant year round and is much better where Basketball is concerned than anyone on MJH. Waddle is also pretty good at all sports. He has the most knowledge where football is concerned, obviously. But he is very good with all sports. I like that he admits to being a Red's fan too, rather than trying to mask it and root publicly for the Cub's. They don't seem as controversial as MJH, thats why I believe they don't get as many posts. MJH is a show that has a greater ability to get people fired up-whether it be in a positive or negative way. But that makes for good radio.

You really think Jurko and Harry would be a better listen that Silvy and Waddle?
