Mike thinks he is controversial and he wants to be controversial. Part of being controverisal is having a point that a group of people agree with you on. Not, just saying things to hope to cause controversy. When you start doing that people just tune you out, and that is not only is Radio.

It is evident from the % of posts here and even some of your own comments that a very large number of people are not fond of your show in it's current format. Many of them are just not fond of you and that group can never be pleased.

'What if' the show was improved? What if you had a real co-host? One that said things when they thought them? What if the morning show had some things that people enjoyed to listen to?

IMO your ratings are flawed, I just think the sample of people that report that they listen to you, is too small to determine a real 'share'.

I see it posted here and I know it is how I listen, but I listen to the SCORE for Sports. If I want anything else (Like intelligent talk, news, etc) I tune in elsewhere. A big part of that reason is Mike. Sorry Mikey, but your lack of education and argumentative style of TALK, are not condusive to a well thought out discussion. Raising your voice, spitting on someone and taking personal shots at fat boy (fred) are also not exactly a great listen.

So what if you made some changes? What if you IMPROVED the show with an intelligent co host that spoke his mind? Would it be so bad?

And maybe a Producer that comes up with some GOOD Ideas?

He had Doug and Jiggetts. Jiggetts provided some counterpoint, which made Monsters an arguably interesting show (just not my cup of tea.)

Producers who come up with good ideas have the challenge of getting them by North, without getting whacked for it. A couple of whacks later, you can't be surprised that others don't feel the need to take the risk.

North sounded pretty foolish when Drinky was on the show.
I believe Drinky alluded to Mike's angst once on B and B. Drinky said that his thoughts about Grossman -- defending the Hoosier -- were one of the reasons that he wasn't on in the mornings.
Remember the cross talk between MNMS and Mike and Brian? Northy was blown out of the water for taking issue with a Mully piece -- and then the bright one admitted that he hadn't read the story. He was the butt of a 10-plus minute jokefest.
Mike didn't like it. I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the reasons that cross talk was pulled.
Mike sounds somewhat unintelligent at this point, even when he's being surrounded by lap dogs.
