I would actually prefer the Vikings radio announcers over Baldy. He adds nothing,

Good production work Fox. 2d half starts and we break in. At least this is a consistent Fox production. :?

He is also a liar. Case in point. He indicated early in the broadcast that Olsen missed most of the training camp due to knee injury. You f-g moron, Olsen hurt his knee at the end of second quarter in the last preseason game which is the end of the training camp which also means that he participated in pretty much all of the training camp.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on Olsen, that's probably more lack of prep than a lie. But doesn't the Chicago market at least deserve a little sideline eye candy as opposed to this bland Mike Hall kid if we have to suffer the announcing 'team'?

He mentioned today that winning that GB game could turn around their season like last year's big win over Arizona.

Arizona's win was great, but they were something like 5-0 when they won that game. Winning that game had nothing to do with turning the season around.

We are talking about Baldinger so I doubt he was talking about the season. Even if that were the case it was still stupid. Just because a guy plays good for 5 games shouldn't make him the best at anything. As long as LT is still playing no other player can be the best at anything.

Who said he has to retire? LT is the MJ of running backs though. Just like it would have been dumb to say any SG was the best at anything while Jordan was playing its equaling stupid to say any RB is the best at anything while LT is still playing. It's stupid to anoint a guy that has only played 5 games as the best in the league anyway.


LT is awesome and the best RB in the game still, but does not have nearly the stranglehold on it MJ had. Apples and Oranges imo.
