I dont know if he can really fix the offense or not, but they are so deep in with Cutler, Forte, Marshall and some linemen, I think just give the offense one more year. At least they have a year of success under their belt.

Also, knowing Emery is also on the hot seat, nobody who is worthy wants to come here.

Tucker should be gone as well. Let Emery go find his version of a great DC.

This takes 1 year of money owed off the table and if it is a complete F up, next year, then back up the truck.

There is more football talent on this team than the record supports at this time. Thus Emery gets next year to show it, with a new DC, that he finds.

Will anyone really be surprised if Trestman is back for the last year of his contract? I hope they back up the truck, but the McClaskeys have never done this. But, there is a first time for everything...lets hope this is that time.

I just dont think there will be. I would be happy to be wrong on this one, but cleaning out all those contracts costs some big money, its why I think that one year makes it easier to clean house for real.

Trestman will finish out his contract. McClaskey's don't want the accusations of antisemitism gaining further traction.
