Spmack, "I can't wait for the thread about this thread."

Bigfan " I will be getting rid of him , I know it will upset many of you and you will wish to back him and go to elsewhere, which is fine."
Bigfan " here is your chance to say goodbye"
Image

Boilermaker Rick: "I'm going to back him and stay. Is that allowed?"
Frank "bigfan I just wish you would explain why its OK for you to do something, but not OK for Chus to do the exact same thing."

Bigfan "Enough of the fuc king goodbyes! Frank = GONE

Next

Bigfan "When one person makes such a claim, then copies a quote and adds certain words in order to make his case, which is opinion, but presenting quotes as fact, it causes a problem."
Image

Bigfan " To smear my name on my site and not understand the implications of those actions, makes you someone I dont want to be around here"
Image

Image
Badrogue17, "I'm making T shirts with " I survived the 2nd annual
CSFMB Fall Purge" on it. Interested ?"

IMU, "Bigfan, I was your number one supporter the past two days. Why you gotta play me like that, son? Was our time spent together that meaningless to you?"
Image

NAS, "I'm pretty sure me and bigfan are cool."
Image

IMU, "I'm the only free one. Stay fighting the good fight. I am. At the very minimum for FF, leash and Frank."
Bigfan "aglos here....someone must have sent the bat signal up!"
Image
Bigfan "So why not tell us where you hear these things? Even Grid chimed in, but I have enough side emails from ASS CLEAVAGE"
Eaglos, "That other place over there...ASS CLEAVAGE? Not computing"
Image

Dr. Kenneth, "This is like the end of a Godfather movie."
Close....

Bigfan "Apolgize for my tolerance"
Seacrest, "So it's ok to abuse your integrity on Monday, but not on Tuesday?"
IMU, "Today seems like a good day to reconsider FF, Frank and Leash."
Bigfan "Considered...Good talk"

Image
Bigfan "Team Chus?.... TEAM BIGFAN!!!!!!!!"

Dr. Kenneth, "Degenerate Dave?"
Degenerate Dave, That's right bitches, I am BACK!

I've lost count of the number of times I've either fallen asleep or just quit watching during the second half of that movie.

In its time not as much, but now some thirty years later compared to what came after, yes it's held in perhaps too high regard.

Raging Bull too. Almost comedies, both of them.

Very quotable, though...

Agreed. It could be edited down to a classic though.

That second half takes forever

It seems to be popular in the community for some reason.

I always wondered who bought these things when I was kid . People would set up an impromptu outdoor shop and sell framed pictures out of their car trunks, 71st and Pulaski thereabouts.

And maybe an awful portrait of LaMarr Hoyt and an erotic short story featuring Jane Byrne.

Is that place still there? I remember going there when I wasn't tall enough to see over the counter.

Did you ever go to Side Street that was around the corner for a few years? I liked their cheeseburgers. They used this bright yellow squeeze cheese that was probably not even cheese but when I was 13 I thought it was delicious. A guy I played basketball with at Rice (I think he went to grammar school at St. Bruno) worked there for a while.
