Can someone help me here? I've heard bits and pieces but don't understand the full story. Lower body, non-playing injury. They want to know why the Hawks don't explain/lie better? HIPAA has some kind of role, as do the beat reporters who cover practice. So, why is it that Crawford has to give a better explanation, and how can Dan know that management is upset to the point of taking some kind of action?

Seriously, the media is not a conduit for the fans/faithful but its own self-serving entity. I can only listen in small bits so I'm just curious as to why this is something being pushed with such an agenda?

Hockey reports that way as far as I know so the future opponents do not know it is a knee, ankle or concussion etc. Hockey players in a playoff series for instance would go right back after that previously injured or recently recovered part.
