Jay 'the Gunslinger" Cutler DONE GONE OVER!

If you dont like jay, too bad, you have seen the best of Jay we will say for the Bears! he is done!

Many came into this season giving Jay a benefit of the doubt because now he was going to "settle down" because he was married, just had a second kid, moved to the burbs, locked in big contract, got a mini van, joined the PTA...all real facts! Let me ask you, what I just described, does that sound like the makings of a better NFL QB?

This was going to make him more focused????? From all accounts he was the first guy at Halas Hall watching tape and the last guy to leave. There wasnt an issue of putting the work in! And I am sure all you married guys will back me up on this one.....the married life doesnt help you put MORE time in! Even if you are an NFL QB!

He signed his last big deal, he is locked in for $38 Mill even if he is cut....he gets that money, but realstically he will get about $50 mill over the next 2 years.

Jay will be about 35/36 get a chance again for another team to play QB on a 1 year deal...like AZ...and he will be back...he will see the end right in front of him and he will become the same old Jay...it happens all the time. Guys get one last chance and they make the very most of it, but as far we are concerened...jay is done....not matter what he does tonight.

Agreed, while still young-ish for a QB, I don't see how he ever changes...ever, the INTs will never change and he isn't as talented as Favre was to overcome this...

Wny do people continue to talk about Jay improving and cutting down on mistakes? He's been in the league for 10 years. Jay is fully developed. He is what he is.

that run TD by Jay is a great example of wanting it! after the horse is out of the barn. he doesnt make that play if they arent losing or if the team has a winning record

There are times where it is clear his competitive juices are flowing. Last time it was clear was the 49ers game.

Yeah I've been all about Cuckler (see what I did tharrr? It's driving me nuts!) since he got here but at this point for the first time since jay arrived I started to wonder what another elite/ish QB could do with this offense cuz its gotta be no coincidence that the best QBs in the league usually have 1-2 head coaches over the course of their career.

Jay on the other hand? He gets ya fired... Here's hoping he can do it for tresticool!

And yeah when you start thinking "hmmm what could a better qb do with my team" its the equivalent of a married man going "man I wonder how hot the sex with that ginger zee weatherchick would be. Crazy eyes meet crazy cock!

Sincerely,

Nameless Executive X of CBS/NBC/ABC

When Cutler throws the bomb it looks effortless. He does have a cannon. It's his failure to make the right decisions that's killing him.

His bombs haven't been accurate this year. He has another touchdown if he throws the ball to Wilson in the right spot. Accuracy is important on the deep passes.

Never been accurate , the plus is that the ball usually gets there quickly, giving the Db less time to go after it and try and get around the bigger WR. The accuracy is what he is, thats not getting better.

But his tryout for the role of Male model seems to be going well.

It comes and goes. When he gets into a rhythm his accuracy is almost as good as Rodgers.

his arm doesn't look as strong as it used to be. he looks horrible. he is horrible. leading league in turnovers -- 5 more than the next closest! third worst yards per pass play. he is just bad.

I agree he hasnt displayed that strong arm, but he did when they went down 35-7. he still has the arm, but you are right, he hasnt showed it.

Cutler dominated the 4th quarter last night. Did you see the numbers he put up to bring his team back? For the game, he threw for 341 yards and had a 96.4 passer rating. MVP!

Imagine how much better the offense would be if he called his plays the entire game?

I assume this is a joke but I think they would be better if they just let him make mistakes. They've tried to bridle him so much he's just ineffective.

He still makes the mistakes anyway. Cut him loose.

this is the worst possible offense for him. they should be a power running team that heaves the ball down the field every once in a while.

and all you Matt Forte knob-slobbers --- YOU MAKE ME SICK!!! get the man a skirt!!

I want to confess and point out that I argued Cutler and Rodgers were similar when the trade was made.

And it wasnt THAT crazy at the time. Many agreed.

Its very, very crazy now

If they had him a skirt, it will be the first thing he's been handed in about 3 games.

That doesn't hurt. When Cutler gets into a rhythm like that the defense doesn't matter.

His rhythm just always happens to be once they are down by 3 or more scores!
