Poor spany was freezing his you-know-what off about halfway through the game.
With about 5:00 left in the 1st half I was really dreading the choice I made to get up early, drag the family out of bed to Kalamazoo and sit in the cold and snow. Everything that could go wrong......did.

Defense REALLY stepped up in 2nd half. Offense did enough to win. Fun game overall. On to Detroit........

PJ Fleck acts like a damn clown the entire game. But at least he looks cute doing it.

The problem with the MAC championship game is that it really offers no consequences. The winner goes back to Detroit in a few weeks against some bum. The loser usually ends up with a better bowl situation in a warmer climate.

NIU is a bad cover team. I imagine they win by 6 and spanky gets to spend 3 December weekends in Michigan this year.

MAC has no ties to Detroit bowl anymore. They've moved on to places like Boca Raton and the Bahamas. Illinois gets the pleasure of Detroit later this month. Probably. To get pummeled by Va Tech or something like that.

NIU has less riding on the game this year than last year, so they'll win I'm sure.
