Trestman hand-picked Kromer as his offensive coordinator/o-line guru.

If the run-blocking sucks, then Trestman is a big reason for the suckage.

Cutler and Marshall should be traded (if possible) immediately, and Briggs should be jettisoned.

Given the scale of the roster reconstruction (once they commit to it--either this offseason or next would be my guess) that lies ahead, the Bears will be worse before they get better.

No doubt.

But it is hard to get anything done when people are trying to undermine you at every turn.

. . . otherwise, I would have been elected President of The CSFMB a long time ago!

I support a roster purge...but I just can't support Trestman. He's a dope.

Because he is the coach version of Emery. Both very odd people. Arians probably did everything he could not to laugh in Emery's face during the interview process. He probably couldn't wait to get out of there.

People are always trying to undermine the coach. Trestman isn't a strong enough leader to be a head coach in the NFL.

Isn't it weird how the offense always seems to look better when the franchise QB isn't in the game ?

And to think they'd likely have won if Alshon Jeffery catches balls that hit him in the hands...or (imo) if Brandon Marshall is remotely healthy.

I hope we dont find out. I believe that Trestman has only had a couple of jobs where he lasted longer than 2 years. Job hoppers job hop for a reason.

To be fair bouncing from one job to the next is not uncommon when working as an assistant coach or coordinator in pro/college football.

I don't think there is much to he done even in hindsight to make Trestman anything more than what he is.
