OK then, I don't wish community college on anyone.

Both my kids went to CC and got their GenEd's out of the way before moving on to Roosevelt and Northeastern. They both are now gainfully employed in their respective professions AND paid off their college loans with no problem. We covered the JC education, they covered the final 2 years. It's a middle class solution to going to a major college for 4 years and going 200 grand in debt.

Boom.

Jimmy smackin' fuckers around.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with a 2 year degree and head off to greener pastures. It would help my retirement plan immensely.

JK,Doc!

My wife and I used to marvel when listening to other people (which we assumed) were in our tax bracket talking about HAVING to put their kids through college. Yeah, right. I love my kids more than anything but first off,I don't want to spend my retirement years in a empty refrigerator box and second of all,it never hurts anyone to learn about fiscal responsibility.

my brother in law started in community college, transferred to Berkeley, and now directs Asian operations for a Wall Street Bank. I don't EVEN want to know how much he makes ($800K? MOre?). Thankfully his personal life is in complete shambles, so that gives me some solace.

i don't believe that. seeing as this is the CSFMB standard procedure says we're going to have to see some W2 forms to back up these audacious claims.

Frank was great and this board won't be the same without him.

Even bigfan will discover he misses him.

Frank is the Yin, to Bigfan's Yang. That's a Y, not a W.

I would advocate for frank to come back. Bigfan let Frank back! (Some one create a website www.letfrankbackbiggie.com). It's kind of like PVP in an MMO. If you eliminate the opposite faction, you are left with The Sims. :(

Festivus has truly enabled miracles on this board!! :D Government cheese for all! McNuggets for none! (I don't even know what this means....I blame my fingers).

I stand corrected. I don't have any beef with Franklin, I was just noting the outcry of support for others.

I'm not in any camp, but I think the board is worse off without Frank.

Tom needed Jerry and Jerry needed Tom.

Both true. I can see how Bigfan would find him bannable, however I don't think anyone should be banned for being a jerk.

In my world, "Not caring whether a poster is here or not" is not synonymous with "I have a beef with this poster".

But, I know people like to deal in absolutes and twist stuff to feed the drama queens.

Have a good afternoon.

Why cant someone who hasnt had a fight with Frank say he had a bad persona from what they have seen here? I think that is a very valid point.

I dont think anyone is ripping apologist for saying that. Following it up with saying he has no beef with Frank does sound a bit confusing.
