That's still my favorite part. I really want to believe him, because that means some anonymous CSFMB'er gave him permission to post it, which is

Hell of an off-season, so far. Sox are the feature story.

The Cubs? Did they even get a current major leaguer from that trade? They got some dude who might suck or might be good. Maybe they got 2 dudes like that, don't remember. The White Sox obviously made out the best here.

Can we sacrifice FarveFan to BigFan for Frank's return.

No shit, relax Sox Subdivision! You are not going to the win the division with a shark, a duke, a roach and a yankee from dun yonder.

Seems like just yesterday that the SS where posting about how Shark is not a winner. Does Hahn have some secret south side powder that turns Shark into a winner? Does the greatness that is the WhiteSox, automatically make him a 20 game winner? He didn't win in Oakland and I don't see him getting 15 Wins with this lineup. You act like you just signed J.Lester and M.Scherzer.

R E L A X - Remember I warned you. Don't come crying to me when Shark goes 4IP with 7ER and Robertson blows another save. You have been warned.

Don't project JORR's thoughts onto all of us.

I don't think you can accurately assess an athlete when he comes up in such a dismal organization committed to losing as many games as it can. Now that Shark is with a professional baseball organization, there is a great chance he flourishes.

Did you not watch the last half of the season? Shark was BAD with oakland. He went 5-6 for OAK. If he is the ace you guys are making him out to be, then Oakland would have gone to the playoffs. He is a big reason why they didn't make it. His record the last three seasons is 7-13, 8-13, 9-13. 13L x 3 is not a good omen. If you think a sub .500 pitcher is going to take you to the playoffs, then good luck with that. Hope springs eternal.

We never made him out to be ace though. We have a legit ace. He just needs to be a solid 2/3 starter, which he will be.

Oakland sucks too.

Hahn just couldn't land his guy, I guess.

@SteveGilbertMLB: #Dbacks GM Dave Stewart says he discussed Montero with #Dodgers, #Padres, #RedSox and #WhiteSox before deal with #Cubs

FarveFan, "Terrific job this offseason. I'm so glad we don't have to purposely suck for years on end to build a contender. The AL Central is ours to lose now!"

"maybe the Cubs will be able to afford someone significant by 2017."

Boilermakerrick, "No wonder that Kenny is such a hot commodity with other organizations."

"2005" If Sox fans wanted to hurt Cub fans, they should be typing 2003. 2005 doesn't mean shit to us, however 2003 is like a dagger in my chest.

GD, "Two years worth of great Hahn jobs."

Do Sox fans normally get this excited about average players. You could argue that Shark is below average. Right, JORR? How many games will Shark win for the Sox, JORR?

In exactly zero of those statements, does anybody say Shark is an ace.

It's not just about Shark. LaRoche, Duke, and Robertson were nice FA signings. Hahn gave up nobody, to get Shark for $10 million. Throw a healthy Nate Jones in the mix, a full year of Avi Garcia, and possibly Rodon at some point, and things are really starting to look up.

Dunn and Konerko were lead anchors. Addition by subtraction.

So scooping up the players NO ONE ELSE WANTED is going to make you a contender?
What do you want to bet: Hammel's/Montero/Rondon have better years then Shark/Laroach/Robertson? Keep it board related and we have a bet.

Shark as Cub = Great asset to be admired and exploited.
Shark as Sox = Piece of shit.

Got it.

I'll take the shifting of the gears, as an admission that the Sox fans think Shark is an ace comment, was nothing more than a red herring.

This has nothing to do with your false claim that Sox fans believe that Shark is an ace. More shifting.

Man, we really have some upset Cubs fans running defense over here in the Subdivision.

I guess when you finally realize that the Cubbies prospects have been busts, a good picture that had a great year will may now be their "ACE" and PLAN THEO has been aimless in its feeding of Cubs fans with cheap, generic and stale cookies.

I demand more from my trolling.

First of all, Samardzija was acquired via trade. There was no deal signed.

There isn't a single White Sox fan on this board, that has acted like the Sox signed Jon S. or Max S.

Exactly. The White Sox are a lot better than they were last year. It can't be stressed enough what losing Dunn and Konerko means. Two dead weights have been lifted. Hold your heads high, Sox fans.

Now, if we could just get rid of Viciedo.

Yup. He's done a pretty amazing job in a short period of time. Hopefully more to come.

Only issue is that Robin is still the coach.
