Outside of skipping out on the Silvaddle show earlier this year, Cutler has been a stand up guy with the media ever since he got to town. At this point, that is the one positive I can say about the guy.

Agree, but he is taking every bullet. I mean he deserves to be hammered for his poor on field play. But to stand up there and answer questions has got to be tough. The easy thing would be to clam up or take shots at others. He acknowledged his poor play.

I think Cutler is coming across well though I think just a little too OK with the benching. Probably because the money he's collected and still owed help offset any anger or embarrassment.

His demeanor now id the same as it is on the field. Except for a couple instances it rolls off his back. People both love him and hate him for this.

If you think Emery and Trestman need to be fired than Jay should be on your list as well.

I mean Emery and Trestman provided the single biggest year we've ever seen offensively and we don't know if any other coach or GM would be able to ever take us to those heights again. Better to just keep them even though they stink like shit.

Even though he's consistently sucked and underperformed we should keep Jay though.

is it fair to speculate that maybe trestman didn't come out with his grade-A gameplan for this last game? if you know you're a dead man coaching and this is very likely the end of your career in the NFL on any level (cuz who's gonna wanna take him on as their quarterback guru after he motherfucked the hell out of jay, a guy whose eyes he once looked into in a remote cabin in backwoods durham NC on a stormy night only to see into his soul and realize THIS IS A GUY YOU CAN WIN FOOTBALL GAMES WITH!)

yeah i just can't help but think that trestman didn't really go out there and try his best to win the game. quite honestly there was no good reason they should win the game and they will only benefit from the loss, otherwise with a win they might go from the #7 pick to the #9-10 pick or something and hey every pick counts. ask michael haynes. he likes turtles you know.

TLDR = jay still was the quarterback to get you to a NFC championship game and a 7-3 record the next season when you had a perfectly cromulent defense along with a mike fucking martz offense. and then the season after that you bring in brandon marshall and go 10-6 behind a crazy good scoring defense... and then you get rid of lovie right b4 the defense was about to crumble because hey, you didn't wanna end up throwing the baby out with the bongwater. and well..... * rips bong and unleashes world class smoker's hack * hey wouldn't it be cool if he actually hired that CFL guy?
