Was he able to break away and get open? Seperation? Or was it just that ball was thrown early enough?

Too bad he cant catch!

He got separation. He gets separation a lot. None of the Bears receivers are sure handed.

I saw the seperation, but I wonder if it was due to Jimmy throwing the ball on timing routes to a spot, trusting the paln, that Jay never did. Just wish Wilson caught more of those. It was his first time being featured, lets see it again next week.

You would think there was a coach that would work with them on catching the ball and running the right routes.

I think #8 trusting that he would run the right route definitely played a role. It was a timing route and perfect pass.

marquess was making some nice catches with the palns of his hands there. big shoutout to #1 WR ALSHON JEFFERY for making that big catch to keep the final drive going on 3rd/4th and whatever. the ball was right on the paln of his hands but i think he got a bit too much glove on it. dadgummit.

seriously tho marquess redshirted last year a la alshon and was supposed to grow into the offense throughout the year to quietly emerge as a #3 option behind your real #1 WR (like him or otherwise) and alshon and whatnot. but then he broke his collarbone and we got san..... antonio holmes (who was worth 2-3 great joniakisms fucking up the name) and rah rah rah blah blah blah by the time our guy 'quess showed up it was like week 10 or 11 and they were already waist deep in the shit so hey whaddya expect?

At least we now know that Trestman's offense includes timing routes meant to deliver the ball to the receiver in stride. This fact is something at least one Cutler Apologist around here has previously denied and explains why Cutler has never been and never will be an elite quarterback.

Didnt ask for Smoking the league just catching the ball on the quick out routes, those routes dont involves big hits, your momentum is taking you away from the play, so even if a guy is on your back, it shouldnt even be a thought. Dropping the ball in stride or going over the middle is another story.

And I ssaid, lets see how he works next week.

I like Wilson. He is the only WR that I've seen get separation in every game he's played in. Unfortunately catching has been a problem. You can fix that. That broken collarbone may be a reason for some of the rust.
