He won't be on the market for long. This is your run of the mill scapegoat move. Van Gundy never signed him so he wasn't on the hook for bad decision making. This is the type of move that gets fans excited because they want to see you do something.

Maybe Detroit should now trade for Lance Stephenson. He will really improve their on court performance much like he has done for Charlotte.
