What and who do you want to see as your new head coach?

Tresty was an experiment. Had no problem trying the experiment. It didnt work. Time to end the experiment.

Rex Ryan- You know Defense will be good, you know D line will be good and running game will be solid, maybe even great. Is this just back to Lovie, when we didnt have a Offense? Not that we have one now..

Todd Bowles- I really dont like getting the NEW hot guy coordinator. Head coaches need to learn how to be a good head coach and the only way to learn it is by making mistakes and I just dont want that here. Its why guys get rehired.

Todd Haley - He's been there, worked with the Bears, maybe a nice balance of Offense and Defense.

Just think I only want a guy that has been a Head Coach as check list #1, no more learning on the job. Veteran leadership needs to start with the coach.

I think Jay Cutler should coach himself, though I suspect even Cutler couldn't play for Cutler.

NO NO NO on Haley. I saw him up close with KC. We do not want him.

Of those who have not been head coaches before I like what I have seen from Bowles

But I am also on board with Dr. Ken on Schiano.

They should be able to get any coach they want. The whole team is good except for one player!

Mr. Orange or Harbaugh are at the top of my list followed by Gary Kubiak.

While Shanny would bring some stability & structure to the Bears, he's old & his time has passed. I love what Bowles is doing with the Cardinals defense...although last night was rough, but I don't want a defensive head coach. I love Gus but he's not coming to the NFL for a couple of years.
If the Bears match the Michigan offer they get Harbaugh. Do it now.

Either you let Jay have final say on it, or he has nothing to do with it

They won't hire anybody with experience.

They also won't be able to entice the best new guys because this organization is a dumpster fire.

I think it will be Dave Toub.

This was the best job available 2 years ago and now it may be the worst.

They could do a lot worse than Toub.

I think the longshot experiments with inexperienced guys are over. This time the Bears will bring in an experienced football guy.

nice resume:

Teryl Austin enters his first season with the Detroit Lions as the team’s defensive coordinator after spending the previous three seasons as the Baltimore Ravens defensive backs coach. A former safety at the University of Pittsburgh, Austin brings 23 years of defensive coaching experience to the Lions’ staff, specifically with a special talent for developing and teaching defensive backs. He has spent 10 of the last 11 seasons as a defensive backs coach in the NFL, including stints with the Seattle Seahawks (2003-06), Arizona Cardinals (2007-09) and most recently with the Ravens (2011-13). With each of his NFL stops, he has helped his teams pave the way to Super Bowl appearances (Seattle in 2005, Arizona in 2008 and Baltimore in 2012). In 2012, he helped guide the Ravens to a win in Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.
