No crying, just factual. He has a small history. Great player though.

No doubt, he has earned his reputation, but that was nothing.

Nice season. Proved me wrong with that solid effort ruined by the referee screwjob.

Losing Suh would be devastating to their D. Have to find a way to keep the guy.

14-0 then outscored 24-6 in the final three quarters.

Suh is gone and I believe Fairley is a FA as well.

Lions return to mediocrity next year.

The Cowboys would have covered a pretty big number yesterday if not for the most accurate kicker in the NFL missing a chip shot.

Take away that roughing the kicker penalty and this game was a cakewalk. Don't be overly impressed by the Lions. The were like FSU in the amount of late game luck on their side this season.

We were not watching the same game.

If Caldwell didn't go into ultra conservative mode, the Lions score a few more points in the second half. It was like Dallas knew what was coming. Every screen was sniffed out. It was pathetic. The Lions had more than 250 yards at halftime, including a 99 yard scoring drive, where they marched right down the field. For some reason, Lovie Caldwell didn't want to keep moving the ball down the field. He wanted to punt and play for field position.

Awful officiating aside, the Lions still should have won this game.

Take away the roughing the kicker penalty and there is no 99 yard drive (aided by an improbably 3rd and 10 scramble by Stafford as well). Dallas starts a drive in great field position in Lion territory down 7-0. You can blame Caldwell, but offensive inefficiency has been the Lions character throughout the year. The one good quarter was the anomaly.

I don't think this is the right game to play he "take away one penalty and then....." game.

Yeah, Dallas really got screwed by the refs.

And I will continue to blame Caldwell, for his ridiculously conservative offense. The Lions had more than 250 yards in the first half. Spin that any way you want, but they moved the ball up and down the field, until Lovie Caldwell decided that they didn't need any more points. The fact that he stood up before the media yesterday, and said he would punt again on 4th and 1, shows what an idiot he is.

Harbaugh and Tomlin both went for it on 4th down on Saturday (3 out of 4 combined). Belichick wouldn't think twice about going for it. That's why they win Super Bowls, and Caldwell gets his ass kicked.

NFL admitted to Lions today that officials missed a hold on Ndamukong Suh on the 4th-down conversion from Tony Romo to Jason Witten with 6 minutes left in the game (after the controversial Brandon Pettigrew play and before the Dallas TD). Had holding been called, it would have put Cowboys in 4th and 16 on Detroit side of the field. Dallas would have punted and Detroit still would have the lead. One person said that this is "even worse than the PI call/no call."

I'm responding to dolphin's ridiculous claim that if not for the running into the kicker penalty (correct call), Dallas would have won in a cakewalk. I'm not sure he and I watched the same game.
