Ndamukong Suh is being suspended for Sunday's game against Dallas, per @mortreport. When he appeals, hearing officer will be Ted Cottrell.

I'm not sure he was defending Suh/Ansah as much he was saying that everybody was "whining" and "crying" about the Lions cheap shots and fancy footwork.

The NFL needs to stop whining too.

Ridiculous.

Ray Rice gets two games for beating the shit out of his girlfriend. Suh gets a game for taking an extra step backwards.

I don't disagree with this.

Suh has done this before, and will likely do it again, Chus. He has brought this on to himself. And now he not only hurts his team's chances to win a playoff game, but his (potentially) very last game before he hits free agency has him stepping on Aaron Rodgers.

What an idiot.

This is well deserved for Suh. He's the dirtiest player in the league and finally he is getting some actual discipline for it that may be meaningful.

The NFL is saying that what Suh did was exactly the same as what Raiola did. Utter nonsense.

Well to be fair that was before the public saw the video. Then he got the season for it.

Not really. Suh has done dirty stuff like this before. His reputation has to be taken into account.

What Ray Rice did has nothing to do with what Suh did yesterday.

Yes it does. It shows the random and arbitrary manner, by which the NFL disciplines players.

No, it doesn't. The two events themselves are completely unrelated.

That could be, but its a conversation for a different day.

This wasn't random. Suh has a large past history and now chose a bad time for yet another incident.

The same penalty as Raiola, means it's a random and arbitrary manner.

Whatever. He is suspended. Let's move on.

Which of Suhs actions did you think was an accident?

STEP 1 - left foot on 12's leg? OK, Maybe

STEP 2- Right foot, now on 12's leg......

STEP 3 - Pick up left foot, so all your weight is on 12's leg

You really think this was all by accident?

Let me ask you a question, Chus. Do you think an NFL player who takes a vitamin-- not HGH but a legit vitamin from GNC-- that has a banned substance in is worse than Ray Rice? Do you think the NFL believes that guy is worse than what Ray Rice did? Because the banned substance gets you docked 4 games, which is worse than what Rice, Raiola, or Suh got.

Let me add how Stupid it was for Suh to even do?

He knows it will be seen by the NFL. He knows who he is stepping on and he knows what will happen.

I think he doesnt give a shit that his team is going to be in a playoff game. He wants to take his money and whatever happens with the team, he doesnt care. Its a huge reason dont want him on my team. The guy will have 9 of 10 great games and then pull this.

Why don't you just tell me what the correct answers are, Frank?

Is it arbitrary? Yes. Should Ray Rice never play another NFL game? yes. Is the Suh punishment warranted? Yes.

I find it fascinating that a fan base that for years has said, "we may be 2-14, but you knew you were in a game when you played us", is celebrating a guy getting suspended for something as ticky-tack as this. Deacon Jones used to clothesline people.

 Ok, Chus. Way to dodge the question.

Deacon Jones? Who cares. Guys also used to play this game with leather helmets, and goalies used to play hockey with no face masks. Should the pro games not evolve to keep players and fans safe?

In the past three weeks you have defended a guy who took a hit a quarterback in the head, and another guy who stepped on a quarterback. We're are the ones crying about it, yet those guys have gotten fined and suspended. Its absurd to defend those guys. Absolutely absurd.

I notice you didn't say anything about the bullshit facemask/roughing the passer call which allowed the Lions to get a fresh set of downs and score a TD. That was perfectly fine, but launching into Jimmy Claussen was just us Bears fans "crying"

I just heard that Suh is going to appeal. I would love for a punishment to be increased as a result of someone appealing the original decision.

"OK, so you didn't like the 1-game suspension, eh? Well, we went back thru your file, looked the video again, and decided we are going to increase the suspension to 5 games, you dick."
