she is part of the problem as well

It's the least pimp handiest organization in the world that allows a 91 year old woman to have any input in football operations.

If it is the Halas' intention to keep the team in the family, it is time to initiate the succession plan and not with mustachioed 60 year old weirdos. Let's get this thing moving with one of the thousands of inbred great grandkids who has a clue

Sell the team or hire Pollian or Lombardi as president of football operations and get the fuck out of the way.

I always pictured Ginny as Phil Hartman doing Ronald Reagan in the old SNL skit.

Lombardi works for the Patriots and is about as sharp as they come.

Pollian still seems connected, informed and on top of his game to me.

Holmgren is difficult to evaluate given the instability of the Cleveland situation.

Yes, that is what I imagine happens behind closed doors. I suspect she very much enjoyed firing those dopes personally.

She owns the team. Sometimes you need a push too. Besides mothers that aren't your workplace superior offer advice even if you aren't interested in hearing it.

The Bears haven't tried a new owner.

Just remember, Cutler didn't invite his teammates over for a party on Friday! That matters!

She is 91 and I am guessing hasnt seen a game past 9 PM in 15 years. She has no clue what is going on in this league. Rozner said it. It takes embarassment for her to act and thats it.

Seems like he would be a good choice, but I thought he was waiting for Ozzie Newsome to retire.

Ozzie has no retirement plans.

He might finally be getting anxious to take the helm somewhere, especially a large-market team that is looking to give somebody all football control.

Sounds good. I am still interested in Lombardi--and in finding out who the most valued member of the Seahawks front office is after John Schneider.

They could also hire an executive recruiting firm... like they did with Angelo.
