No one's policy should be to be anything around Kap.

I rather watch live streams of Murph and Hampton all day than see anything to do with him.

Brandmeier got a 1.4 I believe which was pretty amazing for that frequency and format.

Then holy shit, no one was listening to the rest of the station. I doubt the Game's ratings rival WDCB is pulling 1.4s anywhere -- though more people need to discover John Burnett, my British-American buddy.

WDCB is great if you live in Wheaton. I have a hard time pulling it in in Oak Park.

Kap & Haugh not in today. I was watching on Comcast. Got a sweaty former NU WC Basketball player and his chubby former roommate (no kidding) talking about trying to hide their weight gains with neck beards.

Despite this,I will miss having another option on my radio.

Exactly.

No one gave a fuck about the rest of their line up. Kap was the biggest loser on that deal. TOTALLY expendable at this point in his career now,

This was a little weird. I've been catching a good portion of "The Carm" doing the final show right now. I specialize in listening to stations and Webios going off the air on their final day. He's had a bunch of other Game people call in.

Anyway, if you follow the guy on Twitter right now, he announces you as a sponsor for whatever they're doing. So, I did it. My Twitter isn't Dr. Ken, it's another screen name I've used here.

So, he announced it and then coming back from the following break, they played the Dr. Kenneth Noisewater clip from Anchorman for seemingly no apparent reason.

I'm certain it was a coincidence. Still odd, though.

That's way too weird to be a coincidence.

I know this station wasn't everyone's thing but I really loved that show. Complete opposite of B and B. If you were a meatball caller, they let it ride and had fun with it. Was serious when necessary but didn't devote hour after hour beating a dead horse. The biggest thing is it was a fun listen.

Back to NPR/music.

I agree. I enjoyed it a lot. Thought they were really good together. Anything but the fucking drama queen Purple menace was going to sound ok but I thought they came a long way in the 9 months.

The Boers & Bernstein Show can be interesting but I don't like their confrontational manner with callers. I don't think it makes for good radio and I find it uncomfortable to listen to at times.

Pretty sure that they read the board and probably know who Dr Ken is, even if his twitter handle isn't.

I agree with Matt. That's got to be more than a coincidence.

I heard part of last night's show and tonight's show. I think everyone Carm has ever known or worked with was on. Did I miss Connor calling in or was he not on?

Connor called in. Might have even been the segment I "sponsored". Don't recall.

Looks like Hoge and McKnight will hang on at WGN. They're in for Kap and Haugh now.
