I wish the Lions would fire Lovie Caldwell tomorrow, but they won't. There is no excuse to be out-coached by Jason Garrett. In the first half, the Lions went up and down the field. Every time they had the ball in the second half, he was content to be extremely conservative, punt, and play field position. Not going for it right before the punt that was shanked, is inexcusable. Bill Belichick would have gone for it without thinking. That's why he wins playoff games, and guys like Caldwell and Lovie get fired.

Caldwell was an awful coach in Indy and is still awful. I made the Lovie comparison last year when Detroit hired him. Cant win with him.

I believe he is a southern NJ Cowboys fan. Supposedly there are a ton of them down there. It's a remnant of the inferiority complex of NJ prior to the New York teams moving there.
