I think he failed the LSAT or something back in the 60's.

Is that the day the non-complete clause expires? If so, a return on Monday, the 15th would seem to be logical.
I didn't say what year.

You can't "fail" the LSAT. Anyone with a bachelors degree can get into a law school somewhere with any LSAT score.

With WGN radio cancelling Sports central, they could be preparing for a new lineup that includes Mac...or not.
It's gotta be either 720 or 890, right?

720 would make sense... his beloved Blackhawks. Mac was often fickle about his Bears & Sox fandom but he never waivered on his disdain for Da Boo and his love for the Hawks.

He hasn't sat out this long for it not to be is my thought. And while we know he has not been on the air it does not mean he is not contracted or working with someone else to build and/or launch this possibility.

When they signed off Memolo said to stay tuned to WGN because "things are happening, especially here (meaning "sports central"), that's all I'll say". I think Mac and ______ (someone) is getting a show in the afternoons.

LOL, he had a deal with the GAME, but they closed. He will take ANY offer that comes along. He has no leverage and very little talent.

Tribune renews the lease on 87.7 to start up a classic rock/sports talk vanity station. Mac FM!

I predict the only thing that changed was the frequency of the station. Same company. Same concept. Just a stronger station and better branding.

What are you talking about? 87.7 is renewed with WGN>FM for one month and the is going to Weigel Broadcasting 2/1/2015.
MAC is finished with sports talk. He will talk for 5 minutes an hour about AC/DC, perfect for the no talent addict he is.

Your hero is OVER being on sports talk radio. You can only have so many "excused leaves" for personal problems.
