in the end, who gives a shit. The hire is done, there's good in it and some things that are disappointing. The Ballard hire would was in one light, the Bears being the Bears. If what is rumored holds true, they went elsewhere and were still the Bears. Big Deal. They might have backed into the right candidate. He may be good. On the surface, he's better than Angelo and Emery simply by being from a different, winning organization. Even if he has to report to Teddy, he drafts well, he keeps his job.
