I don't believe having a better record was that meaningful to either one of us. It's assumed that in the process of winning the AL pennant one team would prevail over it's rival. That happens when you come to expect excellence from your team.

Getting back on topic here.
Looking back over the posts from the last few weeks it was really funny to see how much Cubs Kewl-Aid we were drinking. I am somewhat embarassed by this poll I created. All that excitement and a quick 3 and out. Another sad chapter in the Cubs story.
So now, like any other good Cubs fan, I am waiting until next year.
Realistically speaking it should be a good year. The main players are there. Hopefully the Cubs will come up with a nice power hitting right fielder. I do not want to see Matt Murton there by the way.

By the way, I am not FD. Sorry folks, you got a new friend there.
