I still don't think this debacle is as bad as Emery's disastrous introductory press conference.

There is absolutly no way this guy has the capability to "knock it out of the park" during the interview process. Teddy wanted a greenhorn.

Having said that...it wont be difficult to draft better that Emery or Angelo.

Can't disagree with that. He doesn't sound like the brightest guy but it's this shit isn't brain surgery. Don't draft Shea McLellin in the first round. That's half of the battle.

IMO Ted loved the fact he can control this guy because the guy needs to learn. I think thats what Ted liked. Still havent seen a great list of guys he scouted and found, which is what he will be graded on when the W's or L's come in.

Maybe it is a good thing Ted looked for someone he can loom over and didnt evaluate the guys ability to find talent.

Superbowl!

It's not close. He passes my "boob test." Yeah, he hasn't knocked me out or anything, but god damnit if Emery didn't sound like Angelo in disguise when he was introduced.

The worst part of this, by far, was Ted fucking Phillips starting the press conference by saying that Ryan reports to him. What the McCaskey's see in that guy, I'll never know.

I'm getting a Karen Black in Five Easy Pieces vibe from his story about entering Halas Hall.

Boy, he just doesn't sound very bright. Not articulate. Nothing insightful to say. Doesn't seem to have a clear vision of how he'll rebuild the roster except to say "We'll try everything."

Like I said in the Fire Pace thread, the fact that Ted is still here says all that needs to be said.

This guy is a fucking kid in way over his head.

Nothing will change until new ownership is in place.

He was the pro player guy, not the college scout guy.

Eh, he can't really say anything. He doesn't want to talk about the players, he doesn't want to talk about the staff, and he doesn't want to talk about potential coaches. That doesn't leave much to say.

They need to pull this guy from the podium His answers are getting worse and worse.

"Ted reminds me a lot of Mickey Loomis."

Did he just say Ted could be his mentor?

Wow is this bad.

No wonder they won't even grant Mike Shanahan an interview.

You won a Super Bowl? Sorry we want clowns here we can control and then blame later.

Someone better do a wellness check on Bernstein & his Bears "guy".

Then again, don't.
