Bears prepared to make a major push for Ravens OC Gary Kubiak, per source. Kubiak now free to talk with teams about HC vacancies.

Yes, yes yes! An experienced NFL offensive head coach! What he did with the Ravens offense near the end of this season was unreal. Hire him now. Please.

I'd think this was a good move.

Wade Phllips would be a big upgrade from Mel Tucker.

I would be a big upgrade over Mel Tucker. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

Wade Phillips sounds good to me as DC.

Why not?

I would be for Wade Phillips as well as DC.

Then you got two experienced guys running the show, which is what we want.

Wade Phillips plays a one gap 3-4, but also plays a 4-2 nickle occasionally, and press man bump and run in the defensive backfield. His defenses attack and play very aggressive. We haven't seen either from a Bears defense in many years.

Wade hasn't been good in about a decade. No thanks.

At one time Lovie Smith had on his Bears staff Mike Martz, Rod Marinelli, and Mike Tice all former head coaches. How did that that work out?

Great until Cutler and Forte got injured. Patrick Mannelly said he was in the training room when Lovie got the word that Cutler broke his thumb and he said Lovie looked devastated. He never saw him look like that before or after.

I'll take Rod Marinelli as my DC every day of the week.

Him & Toub have been sorely missed.

Kubiak... yes, please.

Go Bears!

It was never great with those 3 jerkoffs.

The Bears started the season 7-1 and had just went on the road to beat a really good Chargers team. Cutler was looking like a pro bowl QB before he got injured.

I don't even have any other potential guys I was looking forward to other than Kubiak.

I guess it's going to be a first timer.

first question he asked was, "would I have to keep Cutler?"

I am really bummed about this.

It's going to be very interesting to see who Pace hires. After he checks in with Phillips.

Kubiak struggles when it comes to keeping things together and the team focus on winning games when adversity strikes. His team got unglued as Schaub's ability deteriorated.
