So once again the Bears are scrambling to find a coach. We arent even hearing many possible candidates names being leaked. Are they really interested in hiring the Lions DC who has only 1 year as a DC? Really? This doesnt look good.

Why are they scrambling? Because Kubiak wasn't interested?

That, and who are they interviewing? Unless they are waiting for Dan Quinn, the Seattle DC.

Not hearing much about Darrell Bevel. Maybe as he is still playing.

I was hoping the Bears were done letting Cutler pick the Bears next head coach.

Why don't they just hire Peyton Manning.

No shit.

Cutler is not going to develop into anything. I don't want to hear his name mentioned as any reason a coach is hired unless that coach finds someone to trade him to.

Ernie Accorsi and John Fox have a close relationship. He should guide Ryan Pace towards Fox. Would be ideal

I don't see a young guy hiring an old guy....that's weird.

That is a name I could get behind.

He's always coached great defenses but has also had diverse offenses based in the run game.

Son a navy seal, so I would expect him to run a very top down, disciplined locker room.

He's had one bad year in his entire coaching career and he is still young enough that you can get 5+ years from him if things went well.

In terms of hiring an experienced Head Coach, he's so far and away the best choice it's not even funny.

The entire Broncos staff just fired? What the hell is going on.

So much for Adam Gase.

In that photo, Phillips reminds me of the John Belushi character in Neighbors.

Why is Mr McCaskey staring at Ted as if Ted's the boss?

Pace is having a jolly good time.

Ted is talking and they know the cameras are around. You have to look like your interested in what is being said.

I like the idea of John Fox, but I can't for the life of me see how he'd want the Bears job.

John Fox figured out a way to build an offense around Tim Tebow and he's a defensive guy

Plus he's got the redface

Well, Zach Zaidman put a good spin on it last night for me even if the Bears don't get Fox. Even if Fox takes another job, that's one less opening for other potential Bears hires.

I thought he was burying the lede a bit in not reporting that Denver is planning to play next season without a coach, but that's just me.

people really need to forget Fox's Tebow season.... it was an 8-8 team that made the playoffs because their division was so awful.... plus all the tebow credit back then was given to mike mccoy and helped him get a job

plus if retard marion barber stays in bounds they are 7-9 :)

They had a great defense too. Fox wasn't responsible for that.

He had a terrible QB and they made the playoffs. 8-8 was impressive.

He's a good coach.

Why isn't anyone excited about Doug Marrone? He led the Bills to an impressive record that was almost solely based on their defense. Is it only because how he left Buffalo?

He's an offense guy.
