Who plays that trombone/guitar thing that Laurence returns from commercial breaks with?

The Roots?

Not sure what song you're referencing, but I know he plays "Here I Come" after breaks fairly often.

Haven't listened in a while. Laurence's intro has reached laughable proportions - to the point that I think he's intentionally trying to make it ridiculous.

It's nearly 10 minutes long.

that song name got me thinking of laurence on a speedball. i can picture him on the cocaine part, all WOOWOOWOO!!!! talking intensely about comic books (man i fucking LOVED x-men #281 dude! whilce portacio knew how to draw some tittayes man! only thing is he made jean grey look like she has implants but holy shit storm's rack is so huge it looks like she doesn't even have shoulders! but still everyone was all WAHHHHH JIM LEE'S LEAVING! HEY LOOK X-MEN #1 IS THE BEST SELLING COMIC BOOK EVER BECAUSE IT'S GOT JIM LEE!!! well jim lee can blow me. whilce portacio is the fucking man! plus he isn't a racist like jim lee because he was willing to draw bishop in his book! and don't call me a hipster, but anyone with taste in anything knows that wetworks > wildcats! MAN I FUCKING LOVE WHILCE PORTACIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but then when the heroin part kicks in? shit it's just like he's interviewing his guy "hard bake" --- nothing interesting to report.

/me dreams of a CSFMB where someone had the balls to make the "LaurenceOnCoke" mult, because even tho i didnt do too much with the awesome premise up there in my paragraph, i'm telling you there's some comedic gold there. coked up laurence doing his annual thing where he talks about what chicks on the new primetime network-tv shows can get it = BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE! of course now that he's got a wife-in-waiting i think we might lose some of the best radio on the planet whenever the new season of network-tv primetime shows debuts =/

i am really going to go outside and pour out the rest of my beer in honor of that time-tested "chicks on TV who can get it" segment that laurence did. SAY IT AINT SO, LAURENCE! SAY IT AINT SO!

Thanks for the info; now I know what to avoid.

Sir has the crappiest fucking bumper music of all of 'em. Second worst is that brain-piercing "10 Seconds Of Glory" loop :aaargh:

It was ok MM. After I saw a band on NYE that plays brass and synths I was interested in that Mos Def bumper. I checked the you tube and it had rap over it so I changed my mind.

I like his current music. It is much better than the euro trash sounds he used to play.

This wasn't something that happened on Sir Insecure's show but related to music played on shows. Yesterday on Waddle and Silvy their producer thought it was funny to keep playing "What Does the Fox Say?" after Fox was let go by the Broncos. That was so bad I had to change the station.

Herb tried to play that card last night on LoHo's show.

Laurence told him, "No, we aren't doing that."

That's how it's done.

Saw Quest on some commercial, time for him to leave the fro pick at home. Yeah, I know it was a thing when he was Mr. DJ, now he just looks like a weird dude. if he actually used that pick, then maybe, but you know at this point he has stylists doin up his hair. he is like the guy wearing the intentionally ripped jeans!

"Twilight Speedball" was a reliable old B&B bumper in the Goff days, as was "They Say" by Common. I think both are pretty good. Of course, I miss SHAKE THAT, but SHAKE THAT will live on in our hearts.

The Ten Seconds of Glory bed is an audiocrime. What is the source of that? It's completely terrible.

Turned Sir on at 6:05. By 6:05:45 he was playing the music from the A team. PTFB.

Tonight I heard, for the first time, the entire intro. It was only 3 minutes long. Short on time but long on stupidity.

It's #NationalHugDay! This is one of my "kids" @ashlynsnuckel. She was one of my students @depaulu and was so smart, kind and hard-working, that I thought it would be a good idea for her to join @670thescore Promotions Department. Since I'm old enough to be her dad, I told the Score boys to treat her as if she's my daughter. Basically, if you mess with her---you mess with me!

No one who's smart and kind is chosen to work in promotions.

Leary giving out jobs for "jobs".

Long line of youth wanting to get into sports marketing. Always rip into my guy at the sky for not having a better lineup!

Is his response typically "I work for the Sky"?
