I'm 42 yrs old, so I remember a day when Motley Crue was one of the biggest names in rock.
1) Too Fast For Love - Amazing
2) Shout At the Devil - Really, Really Good
3) Theater Of Pain - Also Really, Really Good. I almost call this record "underrated"
4) Girls, Girls, Girls - Awful. Reading the Heroin diaries explained a lot.
5) Dr. Feelgood - A few great songs and a lot of garbage. Overrated.

I saw the Crue on the Dr. Feelgood tour. it was ok. I'ave seen Alice cooper already.

Do I want to see this group of washed up meatballs just to say I saw it?

You missed about 5 of their albums.

Saw them for the very start of the Shout at the Devil tour and they were opening for Ozzy. All they had was a branded flag behind the stage. We were accompanied by my friend's mother and Vince Neil swigged brown liquid from a Jack Daniel's bottle and talked about how great the Chicago pussy was. It was awkward. He had to be lying though because LA pussy has to be way better.

if these bands do a tour after these promised "final" tours, do the fans who paid to see the not-so-final final tour get refunds or something; like a plaster cast of the drummer's piece or some unused mic.k mars eyeliner or maybe go booze cruising with Vince Neil.

a band whos ENTIRE existence revolved around tricking little girls to get naked... a fact which the band itself openly admits to... and you are debating on the quality of their songs?

I thought they did their final tour this past summer with Kiss or Def Leppard or something?

One of their supposed final tours was in 2005. They played in Bozeman when I was at school, and they ended up distributing about 2000 tickets to the college for free just to get people to show up. I caught about half the show with a few buddies. It was just OK.

I wonder what Vince Neil thought of Bozeman pussy.

I would rather attend a DJ Lego show.

If tickets are still available in about 3 weeks after I get my refund, I'll totally get some shitty seats on the resale cheap.
Just to be there for the last time they play Chicago, (or Bradley Center).
I've seen so many bands, but I never saw Motley Crue.
Or R.E.M., Metallica, Nirvana, Grateful Dead, etc.
BTW, that Dead ticketing system is pretty fucked up, not sure how their fans deal with the details.

They're all old and wealthy now. Can't they just scalp them after somebody else does all the work?

The mail order process is fucked up. Phish used to do it that way, until the interwebz made things easier. I will be attempting to score through TicketBastard.

Local rock station made a HUGE deal of this tour and took a bus of listeners up to Grand Rapids for the opener- it was such a terrible show the people wanted to pay the bus driver to leave early. Really mailed it in from all reports- I'm sure it has improved slightly since then...

Used Kickstart My Heart on an endless loop (with BrainStew/Jaded) to get the blood flowing during all-night snow plowing sessions back in my you'- you can't sit still for that!

wasn't "Kiss or Def Leppard or something" the original name of Tributasaurus?
