BTW, I have been overweight (by doctor's standards) a good portion of my life and technically obese at times (college)

I fully understand how ridiculous and petty my stance is. I wish it wasnt true and I try to catch myself.

I never knew it before spending so much time with people (on the phone) before actually seeing them

I remember being very disappointed upon seeing Steve Dahl when he didn't look like a California surfer.

We'll see on that one. It still seems like a pretty safe target group to go after for now, though you're correct in implying the same show used to have 'Count Fagula' and 'retaahhhhted'

Spiegel is pouting and taking THE WAR to twitter. Telling Bernstein there are good reasons not to want Charlie Weis other than him being fat.

Matt Spiegel @MattSpiegel670 · 2h 2 hours ago
I don't want Charlie Weis because his ideas are old, he's failed without Brady, & because he literally fell asleep on Kansas. That's plenty.

Fat people are people too. Inferior people for sure but they are still people.

For shame rpb. Should we put them in camps?

Based on his thoughts, Camps has been put into many of them.

Here's the thing. It's not like Bernstein just loses himself and doesn't realize he's doing fat jokes about somebody else while talking to a fat person.

He's doing it on purpose. He's done it before with Spiegel. He'll do it again. Probably tomorrow which might make Spiegel go into a total melt down. Bernstein is hoping for that. It's his passive aggressive nature. He wants Spiegel to be offended and get mad cuz it's fun for him. And he hates Spiegel.

Look at Mr. Sensitivity here!

I would never ever make a derogitory comment about weight with an obese person in the room. I talk for a living, sometimes to large groups of people and I prefer to be respectful to everyone in the room.
Berns is very conflicted in his views of others.

Interesting that you draw the line at fat jokes...

I didnt and dont draw the line at fat jokes, but the topic being discussed here was fat jokes.

The issues lies in calling Bernstein out on this, he would never admit it and would claim his directives were not meant to insult Spiegs and he apologizes for that, it's his hate for that 'bloated fat ass whale Charlie Weiss, who has that huge gut sticking out of his belt...ughhh.....but I am OK with your fat gut spiegs!" :D

I think its funny that lil Danny doesn't want a guy who actually has some fucking skins on the wall as an OC to be the Bears OC because he doesn't like him , is a detestable human being, blah blah but was fully on board with the Bears signing a noted wife beater as a receiver a couple years back because he was a stud.

Exactly.

Bernstein acts like he has no idea why this would be offensive. "I'm not calling YOU Charlie Weiss".

He's already aware of what sort of reaction this elicits. Weiss's size has zero to do with his shitty coachiness. The only reason to do this is to be a dick.

If I'm aware of something that is going to annoy or embarrass a person, I'm not going to bring it up to that person. What's the point? Maybe Dr. Bernstein has some sort of inferiority complex?

Bernstein:

Terry:

Drinky:

Goff:

Spiegel: What the fuck, Goff? How did you get here and why are you here?

Goff: I just heard about the "Fat jokes" and how you're pissed. I just wanted to come back to join my "Team Bernstein" to laugh at you. So I ran over here from Sirius to do just that. Now I'm going back.

Spiegs should just start referring to Bernsie as a troll. It works on two levels- his habit for baiting listeners and his short stature. Given that picture of him in the Abreu shirt, it may also work on three levels because he kind of looks like a troll.

A person can't decide what race, gender or sexual identity they are. However, 95% of those we label "fatasses" CAN help it. If someone doesn't want someone commenting on their front butt or fupa, then DO something about it!
When a person is an asshat to start with, then it's open season.
