If the Bears select him with the #7 pick everyone inside Halas Hall needs to be fired immediately

I believe I picked Michael Sam in last year's simulator before he came out.

Alright, then - I'll restate my thoughts here -

They need to work on this year's ratings a bit. This would be the greatest draft in Bears history.

All these guys are going by the 2nd round except maybe Grasu. If the Bears have a choice in the 7th round between Dorsett, the fastest guy in the history of Miami football, and Mike Hull ILB from Penn State, like I did, things are going to be pretty good.

There's no way Ziggy lasts until the 4th round and Anderson might be a 1st rounder.

7: R1P7
QB JAMEIS WINSTON
FLORIDA STATE

39: R2P7
ILB DENZEL PERRYMAN
MIAMI

71: R3P7
C HRONISS GRASU
OREGON

103: R4P7
DE OWAMAGBE ODIGHIZUWA
UCLA

167: R6P7
DE HENRY ANDERSON
STANFORD

199: R7P7
WR PHILLIP DORSETT
MIAMI

Greg Gabriel said he wouldn't touch Winston. "not worth it"

of course there's a reason he is unemployed.

My first official draft of 2015

1. Vic Beasley, OLB Clemson- the new Bears defensive system is going to require LB and lots of them. Beasley is fast rising and I predict that by draft day, this will not be considered a stretch.
2. Kurtis Drummond S, MSU- a coverage safety who would fit in well should the Bears continue with Mundy at the SS position. Give me safeties who can cover.
3. Clive Warford, TE, the U- a pass catching TE that would be a great complement to Bennett and his replacement in two years
4. Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia- no way he is there in the 4th. The only question is the injury. The studdiest of stud RB.
6. Jamison Crowder, WR, Duke- small and not blazing speed but incredibly productive receiver. Caught 108 passes in 2013 and 85 last year
7. Darrius Kilgo, DT, Maryland

This draft didn't exactly fill all needs as there were far too many offensive talents to pass up in the middle rounds. I wonder how far Gurley ends up sliding because of the ACL?

Crowder has been killing it at the Senior Bowl practices. They were comparing him to T.Y. Hilton because of his size and talking about how he gets great separation on his routes. He's the best WR there, other than Coates probably.

It warms my heart to see everyone is so sold on Winston. He's the guy.

In mine the stupid Jets took Mariota before him. Fell into my lap and into my heart.

Winston is going to be taken #1. I didn't think Lovie would do it but he will.

Mariota is going to drop. I think he might drop pretty far until the Eagles trade up and take him.

Lovie still has nightmares about Cutler, I doubt he takes Jameis.

Assuming Winston doesn't do anything stupid before the draft, I think the questions about Mariota will make the differences between the two too much for teams to overlook.

Winston may be a dick but he's the guy at QB in this draft. I pray that Mariotta is sitting there when the Bears draft and they can get some picks from the Eagles.

If the Bears keep Marshall, Devin Smith would be a perfect complement to the WR group.

They updated their program to include another site's draft analysis, which should make the picks a little closer to reality

1. Dante Fowler, DE, Florida- this is the hybrid DE/LB Fangio wants as the cornerstone of his defense
2. Benardrick Mc Kinney, ILB, Miss. St- LB are going to be a priority in this draft
3. Clive Walford, TE, the U- two more years of Bennett, and Walford will make the transition easy
4. Devin Smith, WR, OSU- the perfect complement to the Bears WR corps. The guy is a pure HR hitter averaging an amazing YPC
5. Ibrahaim Campbell, S, Northwestern- Id be surprised if he was there in the sixth
7. Derrick Malone, OLB, Oregon- fast LB make for good special teams

That would be a kickass draft.

I really think the first four can happen. I hope people don't overdraft Smith. He is fast but he is nowhere near a polished WR

I really think with Fangio the Bears pick will either be Fowler or Beasley.

The mock that I just did had Fowler gone, leaving Beasley and Collins as the top D guys available.

I'm not sold on either for the #7 slot. In that mock, Amari Cooper was available.

I think they should consider taking Cooper if the alternatives are Beasley and Collins. I think Cooper is the real deal.

Best thing to happen is someone of quality falls and there is demand for the pick .... this teams a youth/talent infusion. Unfortunately, I don't think this is that good of a draft compared to last year.

This draft isn't good enough to trade down in the 1st.

If you're picking 16th, you might as well not have a 1st round pick.

I was thinking along those lines. In that the Bears may not even get a can't miss at 7.

I was calling for trading down a few weeks ago but everyone I've heard has said they will get a good choice at 7 and you should only do it if you're dropping a few spots.

GD's draft would be awesome.

I think they're still good at 7 but not much further.

Fowler is their best bet. But if things break badly for them, they might be looking at a Cooper/Collins decision.

I'm not a big Collins fan.

What is it you don't like about Collins? Last years when the Packers drafted Dix, they said he was the 2nd best saftey on the team to Collins. I saw him play and thought he would be a solid pro.
