Looks like that's out:
BALTIMORE — NFL Insider for CBS Jason La Canfora reported earlier today that the Ravens offered wide receiver Torrey Smith a 5-year $35 million contract with $19 million guaranteed before the season. A $7 million a year deal is viewed as fair deal for the 26-year-old, 4-year receiver. That kind of money would be comparable to contracts for Eric Decker and Marques Colston and more than what Anquan Boldin, DeSean Jackson and Emmanuel Sanders had in 2014.
it says before the season meaning he turned it down... so no news on what they are going to offer him now. He's a UFA and at 26 is worth investing in and would still be in his prime when team becomes competitive in 2016/17
I think Torrey Smith really showed himself to be a one dimensional WR this year. I think he has less value now than he did when the season started. Who knows though, his one dimension was pretty good. His skill set would mesh perfectly with the Bear if Marshall got traded
