They just replayed his story coming out of a break and he says "Hey, none of us are perfect."

This guy is clueless.

I can't imagine ruining my family's vacation by getting hammered like that. You think he would wake up totally embarrassed to what occurred. I guess not as he felt the need to share the story w/ a few dozen listeners.

He's a lame fat fuck that goes to Lake Geneva for "vacation." His family gets what they deserve. He should have fallen on the wife and kid and smothered them.

Heard the story again today, Spiegs made the move up to the Dells which puts him in the WILDERNESS INN. One of the few places even open that time of year...

There is a bar that overlooks the water park, so you can drink while waving to your kid. Named SURVIVORS

http://www.wildernessresort.com/restaurants-shopping?dining=restaurants

That place is just insane.

Dude, there's like a million ways to rip the guy, but you go there? Kill yourself.

Isn't his kid like 2 years-old? You can't sit at Survivors and watch your kid. He'll sprint into the wave pool before your second shot goes down.

Throw the 125 bucks down for a cabana and let waitresses get what you need while your kid watches Nick Jr. on the TV.

That's a family vacation.

For $125 in the Dells you should get complete bottle service and maybe some nachos

Speigs would rather complete nacho service, with maybe a bottle.

They offered to comp me the best suite they had "Eagle's Nest" but it felt weird to vacation in something named after Hitler's mountain retreat.

Plus, it didn't have a TV.

Has a groupon feel. To drive to the Dells for a 3 year old to be in a water park....hmmmm? 1 hr drive to the Lake geneva, works just fine

Well that is just for the place, that doesn't include me drinking. Holy shit, that is a easy $500 day.

Between Grand Geneva and the Wilderness for kids, Wilderness every time.

Lake Geneva sucked.

Sorry, CH.

Is the Wilderness the Wolf Lodge thing? Isn't there also a Kalahari up there? Is that not family fun?

Plus the Wilderness also gives you a very nice golf option.

Wolf and Kalahari are right next to each other off the highway. The wilderness is separate. They probably should have gone to Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort in Utica. It was lame but good for littler kids.

We've never done the Wilderness, looks good.

Sorry, CH.

Need to drive 2 more hours....for more pissed in water.

Wilderness is only 12 times the size of Timber Ridge, but my point was a 3 year old shouldnt give a shit...

Plus you can do Ron's Cajun Connection and Rip's Chicken, not in that order.

Or head to Uptown Bar & Grill if you're feeling fancy.

Cajun Connection is fantastic. Small, but amazing.

I'm not a fried chicken guy, but I've heard from many people, including you, that if you must drive 2 hours for the best fried chicken on a paper plate then Rip's is the place.

Forgot about LaGrotto's if you're feeling like pizza. Or Ziggie's if you want a double-breaded cheeseburger.

It's the one thing I miss about living in Chicago - the lack of good places to eat.

If we get to Starved Rock this year I'll give them a try. It better be good!

Which one?

I only vouch for a couple. Some are subject to taste.

I have a 7 and a 3.5 year old ... Wilderness is great for them. Plus we met some friends up there who have 5 kids (dumbasses, fix your TV), so we rented one of the cabin condos .... great set up.

Ron's Cajun Connection is great.

But you gotta like cajun food. That's a big caveat.
