This rivals or surpasses the stupid shit Michael McCaskey did.

Holy shit.

Then came what happened after Harbaugh was let go. Kawakami said that the 49ers had all but agreed with Gase, then the Denver Broncos offensive coordinator, to be their head coach. They approved his coordinator choices, and Tomsula's name didn't come up. Then the next day he was told that Tomsula would have to be his defensive coordinator if he wanted the job. Gase passed. Tomsula was hired. Then, Kawakami wrote, Tomsula asked Gase if he wanted to be his offensive coordinator. That was predictably shot down by Gase, who went to the Chicago Bears to run their offense.

It is astounding that the Niners organization thinks they are better off with Tomsula than Harbaugh & Fangio.
Their fall from grace will be swift.

So how many Super Bowls in a row should I mark down SF for?

Working on the fact that you are always 100% wrong, I'm feeling good about my odds.

Wow. I just read the entire Niners story. This makes the Bears look like a model football organization. It really is unbelievable how the Niners fucked up this entire situation & their organization.

I had not followed much on the Harbaugh story, but figured we'd eventually find out who was the bigger idiot. They day they announced their new head coach was the day it became clear to me they are a MESS.

I welcome any NFL teams that are run worse than the Bears....wow!

Just heard the Niners are denying they're trying to trade him...

Cutler's $10M guarantee kicks in tomorrow.

I would take him over Cutler for less money at this point.

As a 49er fan, it's obvious this team is done trying to win. You don't get rid of Harbaugh and replace him with the dope they signed. Then you left Gore leave. Patrick Willis is retiring, and Justin Smith also, probably. I think there is no doubt they deal Kap. He was a Harbaugh guy, and the owner and GM want no part of anything associated to Jim. I think a lot of their players saw the presser for the new coach, and asked themselves wtf are we doing here. Looks like Niners are on there way to being the worst organization in football, sadly.
