Goff's an asshole. I'm not listening to an oversensitive bitch and a fast-talking-jive-ass-motherfucker.

he has a bigger ego than bernsy and spiegel combined. not a fan of his "i'm too cool" act.

maybe he'll discuss his current washing machine situation?

I think Goff has some silly-ass NBA opinions sometimes (from the Carmelo MF'ing Anthony stuff to the downright icky 'light skinned toughness' bit) but he at least follows and enjoys the league. He can fall into the B&B laziness trap of saying stuff doesn't matter because they don't want to cover it, but he's not as bad.

I think any 'expert' mocking is more back when he was on the CBSLocal Bulls 'beat' for a while and they brought him in as a guest in lieu of a more proper one. Or when he tried to report on 2010 free agency. You'd think as a regular host there's less need to even pretend you're an expert.

I think it's a good day for NBA fans when it comes to Score-listenin'. In the years since his departure he's been doing an NBA-only show, so you'd think he's improved, too.

Goff was on Mully and Hanley this morning as a welcome-back, but also an 'NBA guy'. He was fine, seemed a bit more professional in his opinions and invoked his experience hosting with George Karl and what he thought about things (as opposed to what Goff thought himself, which is good).

Again, he'll be fine with the NBA at that hosting level. As long as he doesn't 'my guy' like the afternoon show and instead uses his knowledge to get good stuff out of guests, that's an improvement. Mannelly tried but obviously wasn't as versed in basketball.

No doubt it exists, but not a bad guy.

Me too, but maybe that was only when he (as producer) was calling Dan out on some bullshit.

Can try both,,,of course the point is to have you tune in to Mac and stay at 97.1.

Which is why the whole Spiegs ratings disaster doesnt exactly jive with the BB breaking the top 10 thing....but remember, those stats are flawed for the last 16 years, but NOW they are good.

EVERY person who ever worked in that industry relies upon the ratings when they work for them and have an excuse when they go against them.

The ratings have always been good for B&B, and now they are even better. When the graph is going up and to the right, that is a good thing.

The Bulls are first in their division right now. The Blackhawks are a distant 3rd. WYC?

Douchebag thinks 20% return for a stock is a bad thing. (not good at math)

And that tripling the stock price somehow loses money.

Some day Ill teach you guys how it all works.

And seriously Don, people DO care.

If someone kept referencing how bad you are at your job (by using an example where you couldnt have had better results) you would be taking issue as well.

Also that he's trying to explain charts to people when he clearly doesnt understand how to read one.

I don't doubt that there were periods of time where the stock could be flipped for a quick profit. But the line was trending downward obviously, and everyone knew where it was going.

I'm not insulting you or your job either. Just having a little fun. Please do not cut me in half.

Do you actually think anyone would take his word over yours on this particular matter, or similar ones?

Everytime trading (my job) is brought up you say I gave you a bad tip when in fact what I said not only came true but exceeded expectations.

Flipped for a quick profit? Were talking about 100% gains here, man. That's not a quick profit. That's an early retirement type trade

But whatever. Moving on.

I dont think everyone who reads the board knows the history.

Ive gotten pm's from lurkers before that ended up working out for me professionally. There is a chance DB's running joke would affect that good fortune.

But I guess it doesnt matter

Take it easy Francis.

First, I wouldn't know that nor would most anyone else.

Second, if that's the case, privately have it out with DB and I'm quite certain he'll give up the ghost on the issue ... it's not like you two don't know each other ffs.
