They are now basically on a 1 year deal, so the negotiating goes on right now.

if they start winning to any degree, interest will rise and it should help finshing a deal....unless Crane is in on it.

That's a shitload of money for the AZ market and yes, no clue why Kenney still remains such a prominent part of the Ricketts team but they better not fuck up this TV deal. And you know damn well that's why the big push is starting this year so they can hopefully strike before these networks wise up.

K Wood was the elder guy to hang around when he lived a few blocks away and it was easy to zip over to Wrigley. Was also a great thing with his house in AZ, easy to hang around Spring training.

Now, a new house in Winnetka, not so easy to stop at Wrigley, also 3 kids in school, 3rd grade, 1st grade, Kinder and just knowing his wife a little bit, those kids arent missing 1 day of school and K Wood better be there as well!

One day he will move back downtown and become Mr Cub, but right now, the guy isnt able to do it...no matter what the deal says.

Dont worry, Demp is living right in Lakeview, he will be there everyday to teach the kids who to blow big games!
