I am not supporting a move at this point back to Rex. He had his shot at getting this thing on track and showed nothing.

My problem is the times Griese has looked good is down 17 to Minnesota with 11 minutes left and the final drive in Philly.

So his final drives against bad football teams has now elevated him to the logical choice, that everyone should have been able to choose from training camp.

Rex played against KC, SD and Dallas

Brian played Minn, GB and Detroit

I do hope Griese continues to improve and I hope we have not hit the ceiling on him.

I don't see the angle here. Pick a lane.
You don't want Rex at quarterback.
Rex played 3 teams and looked like a huge pile of shit.
Griese played 4 games and looked better than Rex.
I don't understand where you have a problem with this. #1 would you rather have Griese look like shit against the teams he's played? #2 do you think Rex would've have done the same in the 4 games that Griese played? If you do, that's ok. But you didn't have a point about all this other than you hope Griese improves.
And not to burst your bubble on that part, but I think you've already hit the ceiling on Griese. He's not gonna get any better, but he doesn't have to. For this offense, and team, to succeed the rest of the team is gonna have to raise their play to his level. I'm not saying that Griese's playing at a pro bowl level and the line, backs, and receivers need to catch up. I'm saying that he's playing at a solid NFL level and the nobody else is on a consistent basis.

That's a first.

Rex sucks and is an idiot. Griese is okay and not an idiot.

I'd say Rex has handled the demotion like a good teammate. If you judge a man by how he acts when he is at his lowest, I'd say he is far from an idiot.

Rex was at his lowest when he was ON the field. He's where he deserves to be right now.

I think he's too stupid to realize what's going on.

Here's an analogy. I had a dog and I'd say Brandy go get the ball and point at it. The dog would come up and smell my finger. Not cuz it had stink on it because she didn't understand. That's Rex.
