My guys says the EDM groove is wanted at Wrigley in the NEW DJ positions. between innings, pre game...and then a try for Post games....Not walkup music....a couple of house music shows, which i agree will get messy and become a problem. Sini, can wear his Expos stuff!

While Baseball is crying for the need for younger fan base, the Cubs are setting themselves up pretty nice to be a revenue monster. Love it or hate it, its coming and it is going to make nothing but money. Money doesnt win you titles, but it helps.

To be honest, always thought they should do something like that for that 40+ minutes of time when the players leave the field and nothing is happening. Not going to get in to the choice of music, but the bleachers are what is full an hour before the game, so you should appease the Bleacher bar.

I thought this was an abbreviation for "Edmonton Cubs" and that there had been a merger of the two teams who intentionally lose tons of games to draft high but never get any better.

Its not something Im looking forward to. I just dont worry too much about the "experience". The game IS the experience for me.

I understand you view them as Chicago Team A and I think that is cool.

I always thought they were more than Chicago Team A but I guess this seems to be fine.

Not sure what you mean, I just never really cared too much about the amenities.

You view the Cubs as just a baseball team that plays in Chicago and you don't really care about all the other things about the Cubs that differentiated them. I think that is a fair way to view them.

I always had a different opinion of what made the Cubs "special" but I'm not going to tell a Cubs fan they are wrong if they didn't think those things were cool.

Ok, so this board can't make fun of 85 year-old Iowa grandmothers. I can't tell the difference reading these posts.

I just don't see how you can market the shit out of a "special" ballpark (including rooftoops) while at the same time insisting you need that ballpark to be like everyone else's in order to compete.

Lots of places try to mix modern with classic. Who cares?

Bryan is a Cub fan regardless. I think the mistake being made is in thinking that the Cubs have more Bryans than the Sox have Coztanzas. They each have a similar amount of fans of the team. The Cubs are more popular because of other factors, the antique park being foremost among them.
