I tuned in on the tail end of a conversation between between Bayless and A. Smith talking about some inane Twitter he (Phil) put out today. Bayless: "He has gone from the Zen Master to the Spin Master".

I don't do the Twitter thing, so does anyone know what they're talking about?

He said that the Knicks made the basketball Gods sick by their play last night.

I think Phil falls into the Jordan as exec category....out of his element of expertise. I love the hell out of Phil, I furthermore NEVER saw him as a great team manager. Man, I just HATED his idea of playing old stiffs at center.

He inherited a team full of garbage players and contracts. I would at least give him 2-3 seasons before issuing a verdict.

If they get the #1 pick (Jahlil Okafor) , a healthy Anthony and another big name, they'll be back quickly.
