So, BigFan is very reasonable.

ANOTHER reasonable Cub fan. Gonna have to start bringing in new members, JORR. Most Cub fans here obviously dont fit the profile you believe represents most of the fanbase

By definition any "big and long" run by the Chicago Cubs would be historic.

Let me know when that happens.

When I win the 3 year bet that not 1 Sox fan wants a piece of.

A piece of it has never been the problem.

Well, no one is predicting a "big long run" for the White Sox, and I'm not even sure what constitutes a "big long run", but I'll point out that the Sox went 17 straight years without a losing season from '51 to '67. They averaged over 90 wins per season from 90-93 and were well on their way to 100 wins in '94. They averaged 88 wins per season from 2000 to 2006. Is that a "big long run"? Because if we're proposing bets, I'll wager that the Cubs won't average 88 wins a season over the next seven years.

I realize that for fans of a team with the great and powerful victorious tradition that the Chicago NL Baseball Club enjoys 88 wins per year for seven years is nothing and the expectation is for nothing less than multiple World Series championships.

Cubs fans can't expect multiple World Series'? I thought they were stupid bc they didn't care about winning World Series'?

I thought this thread was about EDM? Playing EDM music hurts the Cubs' chances to win a World Series?

I'm very confused.

I'm not sure. The last time they won one ragtime was all the rage.

Its about the Sox fans wanting to be Cubs fans, kinda like every other baseball thread.

You don't think Kenny and Hahn are jelly at the pub and accolades the Cubs' brass gets? Especially considering Sox fans don't think Theo or Hoyer have done anything yet?

I think there would be a bit of a complex. Like what Sox fans have toward the Cubs.
