That would be the best case scenario IMO. The unfortunate truth is that management doesn't want him here and he no longer wants to be here. When the Bulls bow out early in the play-offs that will be the perfect excuse to say sayonara. The only way a trade works out is if Thibs gets sent to a team that he wants to coach. I'm guessing that's a pretty short list - which certainly reduces the market and trade possibilities. If the Knicks are his target they won't give up their 1st round pick and have nothing else of value.
