I take it Panther is some kind of self righteous health nut? Did 'yall run him out of here, or what?

BTW, if anyone has any novel methods of getting to sleep w/o getting drunked up I'm all ears.

The over the counter sleep aids work for me, but I've been taking them for years and would really like to stop using 'em. Tried melatonin, but it doesn't work for me.

You've become reliant on sleep aids, now you are addicted and can't stop.

Bull-Man is weak.

Eating a lot of pasta can make you tired.

Someguy is right. I'm weak. Always have been when it came to sweets, rum, drugs and women.

The suggestion to smoke weed may work, but I DO smoke before bed. I don't know if that would work w/o the Sominex. Maybe I'll man up and try it.

Strenuous activity for 3 seconds, and then lay down and DO NOT MOVE for 45 minutes.

Well, I guess we have different interests.

You seem to get pretty worked up whenever food or diet is brought up. What's the deal with that?

Mults are always been better when they are comedy based and not preachy, story telling based.

I agree but Seacrest starts to grow on you after a while.

I don't get it. All St. Louis Bull Man did was start gameday threads in the Bulls folder, and then all of a sudden he's like "STRENGTHEN YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM, HEATHENS, I CARRY A BAG OF MY SHIT WITH ME." It's weird even for here.

The comedy is born out of the preachiness and responses.

True, Mangino would have been nothing if he didn't spend his first month here repeating the virtues of Mrs. Dash as a table salt alternative

Is Mrs. Dash a table salt alternative?

I use it.

It's boredom, Hair. I only leave the house to get food. It's too fucking cold to ride a bicycle or do anything outdoors. I would have been posting here from day one but I'd never scrolled down far enough to see this thread.

My lunch tip for the day....if you like salmon (not a fan) you might go for this quick meal high in Omega 3 and much more. Not that you need it, but here's a 5 min. vid. I substituted tuna, but it tasted like shit with baby spinach.

I've never used it, but isn't that how it was advertised? Salt-free seasoning alternative?

You could ask Mangino

Hey! I saw the guy eating one of those big-as-your-head burgers at Kuma's! That's big as your head, not his! If he wants to do that he'll have to join my good friend C. Howitt Fealz and me for the famous Gut Buster at Jacoby's in Haebangchon, South Korea! Come on! We're rollin' out!

Thanks, Sam. Unfortunately I'm a former yoga practitioner. Joined a class to meet chicks. Relaxation, meditation, none of that shit worked for me.

BTW, I met my first wife in that class....ended up costing me a lotta sleep. :(

OK, maybe hit yourself on the head with a giant mallet or something then.

OK! This thread is paying off...for ME! I never even thought to try Mrs. Dash...just assumed it was full of additives. But I looked it up and it appears not. I like everything in it: Garlic, Onion, Spices (Black Pepper, Parsley, Fennel, Basil, Bay, Marjoram, Oregano, Savory Thyme, Cayenne Pepper, Coriander, Cumin, Mustard, Rosemary, Celery Seed), Carrot, Orange Peel, Spice Extractives

I can eliminate a bunch of stuff when they run out and just use the Dash. I'm tempted to pontificate on the benefits of certain spices, but I'll fight the impulse.

But a word on salt: It's a mineral essential to life. Use it. But like everything else it can be overdone. I would caution against salt saturated foods, which are just about everything sold in a can. You know what they are. As far as salt causing high blood pressure...not sure that's true.

I'm gonna brave the blizzard and go out and get some Dash right now for lunch.
