My instinct says it'll be a high scoring affair....which is why I'm predicting a low one...

I cant figure either team out. I have been waiting for the Bears to play up to last years potential at least to some degree all year, and they keep surprising me by being as bad as they have been. Detroit is 7-44 on the road since Millen has arrived, and although this is the best team they have had in that tenure, I think the Bears do enough at home to win. I see it playing out the opposite of last game against the Lions. I think Detroit is up by 3 or 4 late in the 4th and the Bears get a crazy play to take the lead, either an improbable Hester play or a play on defense to win 17-13.

This will be a dominating performance. Lions get a cheap TD late.

Depends which Bears Defense shows up...if it's the no tackling, let Adrian Peterson run all over the field D, Calvin Johnson, Shaun McDonald and Roy Williams are going to have a field day catching and running with the ball.

And the Lions last week found a running game, Kevin Jones in his 4th year out of VT ran 15 times for 76 yards, 5 yd per avg.

Weather is supposed to be sunny and clear on Sunday.

Shoot-out: Lions 43-Bears 37

Turnovers kill the Bears.

Again Griese has no turnovers. Two passing TD's and Benson crosses the goal line for the third. Gould gets into the action for two FG's.

Lions do not kick to Hester and give up great field position.

Bears D knocks Kitna out of the game and nullifies Kevin Jones.

Bears 27
Lions 13

......or not!

Lions record on the road is terrible and I hope that continues. The defense needs to assert themselves and this is the game to do it.

Bears will win 24 - 13

Lions, in an effort to keep the ball away from Devin Hester, punt the ball into Lake Michigan 4 times. Resulting short fields, plus the return of corner Nathan Vasher and the Lions getting eyestrain from the Bears' ugly orange halloween jerseys, enable the Bears to win 24-17.

Yep. I'm not a fan. The blue helment, orange jersey and white pants
look bad. Maybe if they wore the blue pants with the organge jersey
it wouldn't look so bad.

As we've seen from the Eagles v. Lions this year, new colorful jerseys, confuse and confound the Lion's secondary...(Hah)

I think an alternate jersey is mandated by the NFL once a year. I believe the Bears bring out the orange the week before halloween as an FU for this horrible uniform requirement.

It's not so bad. Consider them the Bears Halloween costumes.

I have no clue what Bears team is going to show up. They're the Lions, don't they know they'll always end up winning 6-8 games a year. Bears have to win this one, law of averages.

24-17

No. Prior to this year, the last six years of win totals for the Lions have been: 2, 3, 5, 6, 5, 3. Even worse than you thought. Horrible. Hard to believe that Matt Millen has kept his job as GM the entire time since the team he inherited (in 2000) went 9-7.
Enough about the Lions. The Bears need to stop playing like a bunch of pussies and remind the Lions that they suck. Bears beat down the Lions 38 - 10

Thanks Mike - I didn't really look into the stats, Well, this is a step up then for them. They still suck.

My prediction:

Lions 38
Bears 14

Matt Millen gets a 10 year contract extension after the game, and the Lions lose every game left on the schedule.
