Love love LOVE this trade.

Mavs got a great shot at a title now.

The West playoffs going to be a lot of fun.

Five or 6 teams out there have a great shot at making it to the Finals. The Mavs may have the best starting 5.

i think the Grizz would do the same thing to MAvs they did to the warriors the other night
and I don't think it puts them past the Warriors themselves either

still, agreed it will be a fun playoffs, you can make a strong case for any number of teams

The Warriors look great right now.

But I am not sure they can beat a team like the Mavs, Spurs, or Grizz in a playoff series when things change so much.

if they have Bogut playing, they can

they lost the Grizz game because they had Draymond Green covering Z-Bo

i realize his health is a huge 'if', but if they have him for the playoffs i think they are the team to beat.

Yeah that is a big if. But you are right if they have him playing they have a much better shot.

I would still say they are at best the 4th best chance of coming out of the West playoffs.

I hope I am wrong tho, if the Mavs are not able to do it, I would love to see GS be the team representing the West.

He helps them defensively but not enough. He hurts their spacing on offense and possibly their chemistry as well. It should improve the team slightly, but not enough. The only contenders in the West, in this order, are Warriors, Spurs, Grizz, and Thunder.

Hypothetically, if every team was healthy and at their best, the Warriors would cruise to the title I think. Without Bogut healthy, I think the Grizz are the best but I'm never counting out my Spurs.

How does a pass first PG hurt their spacing on offense?

Because there's nowhere to really hide him when he doesn't have the ball.

And I just don't think the Warriors can hang with the big dogs in the West during the playoffs even with Bogut healthy.

But if the Mavs don't represent the west I hope I am wrong and the Warriors do it. A Bulls and Warriors championship series would be a lot of fun.

much like Gasol, Rondo can play much better than he has with the Celtics. I think he makes the Mavs better, even though I can't stand the guy.

Good call, trades are always judged after a month of whether they are good or bad.
