I love the little stuff that they think through in the writing room - like having the guy howl really loud to alert the guy in the alley to setup for the con.

I love the writers on this show.

Also, I loved Saul trying to convince himself the money was clean.

The fat guy he did the con with gave off a Champ Kind vibe in the basement.

And him talking shit to Nacho about his sloppy work was great too.

And the billboard, and the conversation with the nail ladies....

Odenkirk is just a funny guy

That was my favorite part of the episode. That had to happen.

They were getting close to overdoing it with the Jimmy is always cowered by the guy. Saul (Jimmy) was deferential but never afraid to speak the truth to criminals. It's good to see that start to come out.

Funny, interesting, and very weird at the end. Good stuff.

Didn't catch it last night, but I am looking forward to watching it tonight. I hope your assessment is accurate.

The saying behind the name Saul Goodman was revealed in Breaking Bad wasnt it?

I somehow knew about that a long time ago. I see a lot of "we finally found out where the name came from" stuff online today

I don't believe that it was and I just did a whole rewatch a couple months ago. I just heard the origin a couple weeks ago on a podcast or something.

Pretty sure it was revealed in BB that he wanted a "J ewish" sounding name to seem more credible than your average strip mall lawyer.

Am I the only one re-watching every episode a few times each week? I cant believe how well this show is designed, written, produced & acted. I like it better after 4 episodes that I liked Breaking Bad, but I'm sure that's because of BB. The name change to Saul Goodman must be coming within the next couple of episodes.

Yeah, I must have read it on a Breaking Bad Wiki or something. I knew that was the reference (it's all good man) a long time ago.

Odenkirk feels like he's in that group with Larry David and Cobert. They cant NOT be funny.

I hope you make a lot of money. Chandler is going to need it for therapy.

The last 2 scenes in last nights episode was some of the best TV I've ever seen. Taking notes about Matlock, whom old folks love, then dressing like him and working the room at the retirement home. Just great.

I couldn't compare the two. They're completely different. This show isn't nearly as intense and it's funnier. Saul is much more likeable than anyone on Breaking Bad. And his girlfriend is cooler than any of the BB chicks.

I was a big fan of Jane, Jesse's girlfriend.

I hope you got Netflix cause Krysten Ritter has been cast as the lead role for AKA: Jessica Jones, one of the direct to Netflix Marvel series coming out in the next couple years.

So how bout them suggesting Chuck's sickness is linked to Jimmy's behavior? As soon as Jimmy brought up the idea to be legit and work with seniors he jumped right up to make coffee
