The Bears front office must hate Cutler more than I do!

What did he do last year that was so great? I would rather them cut/release/bench Cutler and take a chance with a guy in the draft.

kap is a flawed QB just like cutler... both have rocket arms (although I think cutler has a quicker release?) kap can obvious run really fast too... but kap is terribly inaccurate with his downfield passing, would love to swap contracts so the bears could cut cutler but not sure id want him as bear QB

I wouldn't mind seeing what Kaepernick could do for a year in the Bears offense. However, I still want them to play for a top-3 pick in next year's draft, which looks to be much stronger for quarterbacks than the 2015 draft class.

Kaepernick and Cutler share the same flaw--an inability/unwillingness to read defenses effectively and throw the ball to a spot rather than a man.

We already know that Cutler will not/cannot change the way he throws.

Kaepernick may, however, prove more coachable than Cutler.

So I'd rather have him than Cutler.

Yup. Kaepernick is a better option but I'd rather go big on a high draft pick after this year if they can't get one of the two best QB prospects from this year.

He reminds me of IMU for some reason.

The fuck is this shit?

What is the point of this trade exactly? Both Jay and Kap are pretty much the same type of QB.

This has to be a contract thing, no way in hell the Bears would do this thinking it's a step up.

Then again, it is the Bears, maybe they are that dumb.

kappernick is younger with better athleticism, and most importantly he has been to a super bowl. he is at least twice as good as cutler

Ike's thought aside there isn't enough upside to do this. Cutler and Kap are close enough with their deficiencies to just try Mariota before that trade.

Any rational football fan would rather have Kap than Cutler. Jay has reached his ceiling. Kap can still improve and can beat you with his feet or arm. I would love Kap on the Bears. I know the Niners got stupid real fast, but can they be this stupid???

Dude is highly overrated.
That being said I'd prefer him over Cutler.
