I was in there a few weeks ago for the first time in years. They've dolled it up a little. Part of it used to be set up like an actual apartment with a working kitchen. A guy did get killed out front some years back. Kind of similar to the Vanecko thing.

The place used to be an opium den. OK, maybe they didnt smoke opium, but plenty of pot smoked in the rooms as it really was just 3 apartments connected with a bar on each floor. So you could go from BR to BR, but there would be 2 or 3 couches in the BR's, and usually a red or blue light.

Best part of the place was his bad ass Alaskan mutts outside.
