NBA Tidbits:
1) Milwaukee enters the season with some interesting lineup decisions - Yi Jianlian or Charlie Villaneuva at PF and Bobby Simmons or Desmond Mason at SF. Look for the starting lineup to be announced today though Yi and Mason have been working with the first team. Even with decisions coming, expect the minutes to be split rather evenly here. Redd, Williams and Bogut round out the starting lineup.
2) Mike Bibby is expected to be out 10-12 weeks following his thumb injury. Orien Greene, a defensive standout, will likely start over Quincy Douby.
3) Kings C Brad Miller has a back strain, and the Kings may look to rest him the first few games instead of risk further injury. Miller, though, hopes to start the season.
4) Most of GS's rotation - including Biedrins, Davis, Ellis, Pietrus, and Kelenna Azubuike - will be free agents after this season. Only Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson are under contact.
5) Rudy Gay could flourish in Memphis' up-tempo system, especialy after getting a year of experience under his belt. He averaged 15.1 PPG this pre-season.
6) Steve Francis is not part of the Rockets rotation.
7) Samuel Dalembert practiced yesterday, and is expected to open the season Wednesday for the 76ers. Speaking of Philly, stil no announcement on the starting shooting guard - Rodney Carney or Willie Green.
Keith Bogans won the starting SG spot in Orlando.
9) Rasheed Wallace accused the league of being fixed over the weekend.
10) ESPN' power rankings are out - 1) Spurs 2) Suns 3) Celtics 4) Mavericks 5) Rockets 6) Pistons 7) Jazz
