Such a great way to defer and not answer a question. Wonder what his go to will be during the season.

He may just be an easy going guy but I'm getting the impression that he knows that Denver was his shot at glory and this is his pre-retirement job.

I don't see how you get that? All I have seen so far is old school coach that won't tell you anything. If he didn't want to win he would have retired this season.

I agree it might be a last shot job in his mind, but he is a NFL coach, these guys have to win to exist. They are 100 MPH or 10

I see him as a Coughlin type who everyone thinks is ready for retirement but keeps on working

To be an NFL coach, you gotta be crazy. When you turn it off, thats it. Welcome to be studio, make some comments, cant come back.

The guy is from a military family. I'm sure he has that "marine's never die" mentality

Bottom line, the Bears got a really good coach for once. I think he will do a great job.

At the very least he will coach in some correct pro manner and not be a weirdo or learn on the job.

I don't get the condescending attitude from Fox ... at least not yet. One can keep a lot of things "in-house" without being a passive-aggressive cockwagon about it.

Denver should've brought in a competent back up who could've spelled Manning the equivalent of 4 games a season. Either by giving him 4th quarters off (when possible) or spot start the back up against easier teams.

Chicago's a football town. If Fox wins a Super Bowl here, he's a beloved celebrity and he'll drink for free the rest of his life.

+1. All that matters is what they do on Sundays (or Thursdays, or Mondays, or Saturday in late December).

Post-game press conference, monday phone calls with Jeff Joniak -- Who cares?
