Word on the street is didn't have a great pro day and could fall. Should the Bears choose him if he gets to them?

He won't fall that far. But sure, if he does.

Chip Kelly told Mariota to tank on purpose, so Tampa won't ask for too much in trade for the pick.

You think he'll be a good pro?

The 9 seconds of research I did, indicates not

Nothing that is worth doing can be done in 9 seconds.

I think he has the potential to be very good which is all you want. Realistically, "can't miss" quarterbacks only come around once every few years and you need a top 3 pick to get them. I'll roll the dice with Mariota.

It is all about the realistic chances of getting someone. The QB class may be better next year but who is to say the Bears can get any of them?

Having a shot isn't a complete activity unless you're an alcoholic. It is usually a part of a larger event.

He is big enough 6'4" and for his size, his acceleration is excellent. So many of his throws were quick under routes or on the move and thus, him stepping back in the pocket and zipping one down the field to the 30, from 10 yards deep on a rope. Dont know if he can make the throw. Some claim you dont need to make that throw, I disagree, as sooner rather than later the league will know what throws you cant make and those will be given to him.

It is truely the scouts draft, as they need to evaluate the guy on something he didnt do in college, its why scouts make the big money of $70K!

Sure. I'll bet you one Canadian dollar. BigFan can hold it in escrow and WWN can complain when one of us doesn't get paid.

You're assuming looking into Mariota is worth doing. It isn't.

with this draft QB is the only position I would be unhappy with at 7 (assuming no one is dumb enough to take a RB, C, G, P, K at 7 of course)
