Nope. I think you are talking about a story I told on here one time involving a former pitcher for NIU.

TJ Lux played for NIU. My senior year of high school my team faced off with his team in the sectional. He pitched against us and I got the only hit off him that day. 1 hit shutout.

Was it a 99mph fastball?

It was a fastball, no idea how fast, but he could bring the heat.

ND has no shot vs Kentucky. Not enough size.

North Carolina had a big size advantage over ND on Saturday, but the Irish kicked their asses anyway. Obviously, NC isn't Kentucky, but if they can shoot, they have a chance.

ND didn't even shoot that well, and they should have won.

For a team that was UNRANKED to begin the season, I'll take ND's 32-6 record. They did some impressive things tonight, like going 29 minutes without a turnover against UK's apes, and leading by 6 with less than 7 mins. to go in the game.

I think Wisconsin is going to wear the crown this year -- so congrats to Badger fans.

No, I wrote that after tonight's loss -- not meaning ND has a shot, but that I'm satisfied with their season overall, for sure.

Bill Walton always looked like an ape to me -- and of course he's not a black man!

Well, at least you tried to get out of it. :thumright:

Everybody uses Bill Walton to get out of racist accusations. :D He's always the go to guy for it.

Look at it this way: If I stated that the big white guy that plays for Gonzaga looks like a polar bear, it would elicit a chuckle at best and no controversy. But if you say that a husky African-American player looks like a grizzly bear -- WHAM, you're a racist asshole that should be penniless and living under a bridge.

This double-standard crap has been going on for years. Everyone is concerned that MLB baseball doesn't have enough blacks anymore, yet no one gives a shit that the NBA and NFL are absolutely dominated by blacks on their rosters.

Then we have reparations, or reverse racism: The audience of The Price Is Right is probably less than 10% non-white for any given show, yet the percentage of non-white contestants brought up on stage runs very obviously much higher.

I don't care about being politically correct anymore. I'm sorry if anyone is offended, because that's not my intention. If it makes anyone feel better, I do believe that most UK fans are white trash trailer-park cretins. Ha ha!

I'm not sure I understand this. Are you saying that getting on The Price Is Right has substituted for forty acres and a mule?

Well we can we at least stop the bullshit about them beating an NBA team now?
